Draped bust right of Faustina Senior with hair waved and coiled. Reverse: Peacock walking right, head turned to left. RIC 384; C. 174. Lustrous. Extremely Fine. After Faustina's death, the emperor Antoninus Pius endowed a fund for girls living in poverty. Additionally, he built and consecrated a temple to his beloved wife's memory.
