Awadh, Amjad ‘Ali, Gold ½-Ashrafi, struck at Lukhnow, AH 1260 Year 3, obv inscription of Amjad Ali Shah (1842-1847 AD), rev parasol above crown and fish, flanked by two swords, 5.10g (KM 340).Very fine, cleaned, probably ex-mount but rare . ½-Ashrafis are much rarer than the Ashrafis, and very difficult to find. Part of the David Fore Collection of British Indian Coins. £500-700
