Labor omnia vincit is a Latin phrase meaning "Work conquers all". The phrase is adapted from Virgil's Georgics, Book I, line 145–6: ...Labor omnia vicit / improbus ("Steady work overcame all things"). The poem was written in support of Augustus Caesar's "Back to the land" policy, aimed at encouraging more Romans to become farmers. The actual meaning of the phrase can be obtained as the following: "anything can be achieved if proper work is applied".

Teliu tunnel from Harman - Intorsura Buzaului railway line is the longest railway tunnel in Romania, located in Teliu commune, Brasov county. It has a length of 4,369.5 m and is provided for a double electrified track. At the exit of the tunnel, it enters the Buzau Turnstile station, 37 km long rail line. It was built by the German company Julius Berger between 1924 and 1929. It bears the name of the Teliu brook, in the valley of which passes the railway.

An earlier project aimed to build a railroad linking Brasov with Buzaul, crossing the Carpathians. On the Moldavian side there was a railway from 1909 between Buzau and Nehoias. The project for a railway from Harman (from where it links to the railway Brasov - Sfântu-Gheorghe) to the Intorsura Buzaului was made in 1922, officially establishing that it was a public utility work. After the inauguration of this line, which was meant to make the junction through the Buzau pass with the Nehoias - Buzau line, the crossing of the Carpathians stopped. The railway was officially inaugurated on June 25, 1931.
