Mint Place: Lima (Peru) Denomination: 2 Reales Condition: Pierced, scratches, otherwise about XF! Diameter: 27mm Weight: 6.47gm Material: Silver Obverse: Crowned hemispheres, set on Gibraltar, between crowned and banner-entwined pillars of Hercules. Legend: VTRA QUE VNUM * LM * I787 * JM * Translation: "(he) united them (the old and the new world)" Reverse: Shield of Arms of Castile and León, flanked by letter (*R*) and denomination numeral (*2*).
