KM-175; A-5.04aa. Lyman L. Allen attributes this piece as "Double Die Obverse and Re-punched 1". It would appear that the obverse is just doubled and none of the digits of the date are re-punched. There is evidence of doubling on the "1" and "4" of the date, "AMERICA", the "N" in "UNITED" and the "F" of "OF". Scarce variety. The Allen number on the ANACS holder is mislabeled as A-5.04a, but should be A-5.04aa.
