1 Nickel / 5 Cent    (sold for $380.0)

1875. PCGS graded Proof 64 CAC Approved. Light even toning. Only 700+ Proofs struck. Excellent detail from a strong strike, the surfaces show glistening nickel-gray color. Don't expect the usual halfhearted impression left by the striking of the (sometimes worn) dies that made business strikes, for we are glad to report the opposite is true with this very attractive Proof. This is a very bold coin with sharp centers (PCGS # 3829) . Estimated Value $350 - 375. Categories: Shield Nickels
