1 Dollar    (sold for $1250.0)

1917 McKinley Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Lovely golden toning, a very impressive Gem. There is much to say about the beautiful surfaces of this simply designed yet technically excellent design since they are nearly perfect, a quality most worthy of the grade. The mint frost glows with intensity over each side. There is just a bit of light patina as well. Nicely struck, and unlike some which have the faintest touch of weakness at McKinley’s temple, this exemplary coin is bold (PCGS # 7455) . Estimated Value $1,400 - 1,500.
