拿破仑·波拿巴（Napoleon Bonaparte，1769年8月15日－1821年5月5日）是法国军事和政治领导人，对欧洲历史产生了重大影响。他是法国大革命期间的将军，作为法兰西共和国第一执政官和法兰西第一帝国皇帝的法国统治者。
他出生于科西嘉岛，在法国本土接受炮兵军官训练，在法国大革命期间声名鹊起，成功领导了针对法国的第一次和第二次反法同盟的战役。 1799年，拿破仑发动政变，自任第一执政官。五年后，他加冕为法国皇帝。在十九世纪的第一个十年，他让法国军队对抗欧洲所有主要强国，并通过一系列军事胜利统治了欧洲大陆 - 集中体现在奥斯特里茨和弗里德兰等战役中。他通过建立广泛的联盟以及任命朋友和家人来统治其他欧洲国家作为法国的附属国来维持法国的势力范围。
