1936 Wisconsin Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-67+ CAC Approved. A beauty! Hints of delicate pastel tones adds to its desire. Only 25,015 struck. Struck on the 100th anniversary of the entrance of Wisconsin into the Union. The obverse depicts a disembodied arm and hand wielding a pick over a pile of lead ore (one of Wisconsin's chief mineral resources). The reverse carries an American badger, the state animal. This is another Art Deco coin having stylized themes. Benjamin Hawkins, a New York City artist, designed the piece. Pop 29; 28 finer, 24 in 68, 4 in 68+.
