“Draped Bust” était le nom donné à un dessin de pièces de monnaie des États-Unis. Il est apparu sur une grande partie des pièces de monnaie américaines en cuivre et en argent émises régulièrement entre 1795 et 1808. Les dénominations qui présentaient le design Draped Bust incluaient le demi-cent.
Toutes les pièces de monnaie (cuivre et argent) portaient le même avers. Robert Scot, graveur en chef de la Monnaie américaine de 1793 à 1829, a transformé le portrait d’une dame du monde réalisé par Gilbert Stuart en une Mme Liberty plutôt plantureuse. Certains récits identifient la femme comme étant la mondaine de Philadelphie, Ann Willing Bingham. Elle est restée essentiellement inchangée pendant plusieurs années, à l’exception d’une boucle supplémentaire ajoutée à ses mèches fluides en 1798.
