1915-S Panama-Pacific Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. Delicate golden toning adds to its appeal. Satin-finish rather than cartwheel-style luster on a lovely coin like the sparkle off a sword waving in the air. Keeping the same metaphor, we see clear-cut devices that point to it having been giving a proper strike by the Commemorative dies. Struck in and dated 1915, the S mintmark lies just to the left of the date, as it does in the Standing Liberty Quarters introduced to the public only a year later.Pop 229; 82 finer (PCGS # 9357) . Estimated Value $2,500 - 2,700. Categories: Commemorative Silver Coins
