1838-O. No Stars. PCGS graded EF-45. Well struck with multicolored toning on both sides. Traces of original luster blends with the lovely toned highlights on the unmarred surfaces. The New Orleans mint opened its doors this year, following four years of construction. The dimes (and half dimes) were struck in limited numbers, and most entered circulation.
