25 Cent / 1/4 Dollar    (sold for $1350.0)

1896 Barber Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64 PQ. CAC Approved. A nice white coin with a pleasing cameo effect. Only 762 minted. The snowy fresh color is especially revealing on Liberty's profile which is smooth, satiny, and exceedingly choice. In many ways, the strike is almost more important than the mint bloom on these. Sheer boldness of strike furnishes the coin something to blow its own horn about and something for bidders to appreciate. Pop 59; 76 finer (PCGS # 5682) . Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,100. Categories:
