25 Cent / 1/4 Dollar    (sold for $1100.0)

1914 Barber Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64 PQ. CAC Approved. Lovely shades of golden toning. Only 380 pieces struck. Pleasant, almost cheery silver satin frost peeks through the toning with lots of fresh white color but it is the warm reds and golds which capture the imagination here. Especially bold strike, as expected. The 1914 issue has the lowest Proof total in the Barber series. Always commands a premium for this fact alone. Pop 58; 53 finer (PCGS # 5700) . Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,100. Categories:
