1851 N-21 R4 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Frosty steel and chocolate brown. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas. No spots or stains and only a few microscopic marks, including a tiny tick on the top of the E in CENT. An attractive cent, but the luster is a bit subdued to warrant a higher grade. LDS, die state c. The legend outside the wreath is distorted by strong flowlines. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#1 honors in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; 1 finer in 65BN. Estimated Value $300-UP. Ex Bowers & Merena FPL 10/02. Categories:
