1/2 Dollar    (sold for $2000.0)

1915-S Panama-Pacific Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-66. Lovely rainbow toning around the edges. And a satiny gem whose texture is smooth from rim to rim with no defects to report. Sharply struck and lustrous, both sides possess eye appeal to spare. This is a decidedly well-struck Pan-Pacific commemorative no matter how it is looked at, with top-notch details. And the coin is superior to many which sometimes (though not always) come with a few weak areas. In closing, the pleasing fields go superbly with the sharp devices, which are free from signs of handling. Pop 238; 58 finer in 67 (PCGS # 9357) . Estimated Value $1,900 - 2,000. Categories:
