1854 N-17 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Red & Brown. Lustrous mint red mellowing to dark bluish steel and olive with slightly more than half the mint color remaining. The only marks are a few tiny specks of dark toning on both sides, including one in the dentils over the C in AMERICA. E-MDS, die state b. The die lines at NITED are dull but still visible. A very shallow low spot covers the neck and another covers the area around the N in CENT (both caused by debris, probably grease, on the dies). Our grade is MS64, tied for CC#2 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; 1 finer in 64RB. Estimated Value $400-UP.
