1 Dollar    (sold for $800.0)

1884-S. NGC graded AU-58. Fully lustrous and untoned, just a whisper away from full Mint State. This is an ideal grade for the value-minded Silver Dollar buyer. Whereas 1880-S to 1882-S dollars are extremely common in Mint State, and 1883-S, which costlier, can still be found with ease, the opposite is the issue with 1884-S, which for some reason never turned up in roll quantities, let alone in bags as these prior S-mint dates did (PCGS # 7156) . Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,300. Categories: Dollars
