1851 C-1 R1 MS63+. Lustrous mint red fading to bluish steel brown with half the original mint color remaining. The only mark is a dull nick on the rim at the top of the reverse. MDS. The repunching right of the second 1 is sharp and the fields are satiny from microscopic radial die flowlines. An impressive half cent.
