Le Coronet Large Cent original, parfois surnommé « Matron Head », était un type de centime émis par la Monnaie des États-Unis à Philadelphie de 1816 à 1839. C'était l'un des deux modèles similaires du Coronet Head Large Cent, l'autre avec un léger profil altéré, produit à partir de 1839 jusqu'à la fin de la production des grosses pièces de monnaie en 1857.

1822 N-7 R3+. Fine-15. Five points sharper but recolored an attractive glossy chocolate and steel with traces of frosty lighter brown in protected areas on the obverse. The only notable mark is a thin nick in the hair under star 7. MDS. Estimated Value $100-UP. Categories:
