1851 N-38 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Lustrous light chocolate brown. The surfaces are satiny and attractive, but there is an obvious carbon spot on the ER in LIBERTY and two less-significant spots of dark toning at the dentils above ES in STATES. Otherwise this cent offers nice eye appeal. MDS, die state a late. The points down from the bases of the E & N in CENT are dull but several remain visible. Our grade is MS60. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; none finer at PCGS in BN. Estimated Value $300-UP. Categories:
