1/2 Thaler    (sold for $546.0)

Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor, silver Half Thaler 1725, KM#-577, lettered edge. Choice VF with attractive gray toning, this type struck for only 3 years for Transylvania under the Hapsburgs. Charles VI of Austria (October 1, 1685 - October 20, 1740) was Holy Roman Emperor from 1711 to 1740, and under his feeble reign the Austrian monarchy achieved its widest expansion, reaching all the way into the Transylvanian alps, as this coin testifies. Historic and interesting.
