„Draped Bust“ war die Bezeichnung für ein Design von US-Münzen. Es erschien auf einem Großteil der regulären Kupfer- und Silbermünzen der Vereinigten Staaten von 1795 bis 1808. Zu den Stückelungen mit dem Draped Bust-Design zählte auch der halbe Cent.
Alle Münzen (Kupfer und Silber) trugen die gleiche Vorderseite. Robert Scot, Chefgraveur der U.S. Mint von 1793-1829, verwandelte ein Porträt einer Gesellschaftsdame von Gilbert Stuart in eine eher dralle Ms. Liberty. Einige Berichte identifizieren die Frau als die Philadelphia-Prominente Ann Willing Bingham. Sie blieb mehrere Jahre lang im Wesentlichen unverändert, mit Ausnahme einer zusätzlichen Locke, die 1798 zu ihren wallenden Locken hinzugefügt wurde.
