Reverse: Papal legate's hat above cross-topped round composite coat-of-arms. Crossed sword and crozier in background. Date (17-40) in legend.
Comment: The two crowns (a bishop's tiara and the ducal crown) symbolize, the double function of the ruler as prince and bishop.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Olomouc (German: Erzbistum Olmutz) is an archdiocese of the Latin Rite of the RomanCatholic Church in the Czech Republic. Not much is known about the beginnings of the Diocese of Olomouc. It was reestablished in 1063 and in 1777 it was elevated to an archdiocese.
